TERZADIMENSIONE has once again established itself as a leading provider of training in “Made in Italy,” welcoming students from the 18th edition of the Italian Design Summer School (IDSS)—organized by Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna (Department of Industrial Engineering – DIN)—to its facilities.
Since its inception in 2006, the IDSS has welcomed over 400 students from more than 20 countries. This year’s edition, scheduled for August 21 through September 6, will take place at the Bologna and Bertinoro campuses and will focus on the theme “Art, Society, Industry.”
The initiative—organized in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and the Ce.U.B. Foundation, and involving an international network of partner universities—offers young talents, students, and professionals in the fields of industrial design, architecture, and engineering a comprehensive immersion in the Italian production and creative system.
A Bridge Between Education, Art, and Industry
Through 125 hours of activities—including lectures, workshops, and group projects—a key component of the program consists of on-site company visits.
In this context, TERZADIMENSIONE opens its doors to participants to offer a close-up look at how aesthetics, design methodology, and world-class production processes take shape in everyday industrial practice. Students thus have the opportunity to engage with the company’s expertise, exploring the integration of innovation, craftsmanship, and product development.
